Help Pets in need!

Donations to the Veterinary Care Foundation, on behalf of our hospital will help us to support the rescue, health care, and adoption of over 50 kittens per year through our in house adoption program, Trap-Neuter-Return for feral cats in our community, and healthcare for the pets of clients facing financial hardship.

The Veterinary Care Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation that helps veterinary practices fund their discounted and no-charge cases. A full 100% of all funds donated to the VCF go directly to veterinary practices.

I have been going here for years. Sadly I had to have my dog put to sleep Friday, and they went above and beyond to make it less traumatic. Maggie was eleven years old and the sweetest dog ever. She did not like being in unfamiliar buildings but loved to be outside in the sun. They helped us take her outside to a grassy and sunny place where we could all gather (8 of us humans) and spend time with her. When we were ready, they came out to us and did what needed to be done. Maggie passed away laying in the grass and with the sun on her face surrounded by the people who loved her the most. I can think of no better place for regular vet visits or end of life care.

Dr. Novey and Scarpinato are very good at what they do, and always exercise the utmost care in the treatment of our dog. The staff are also super friendly and accommodating. Cymbalta is always excited to stop by for his checkups!

We love Novey! From boarding, to check-ups, to the time the Doberman ate socks and had to have emergency surgery, there isn’t a vet in TLH we trust more. The staff treats our dogs like their own and we haven’t had a bad trip in the 3+ years since we found Novey (and we’ve seen them quite a bit in those 3 years with all the mischief our Greyhound and Doberman get into).
